Maronia (“we”, “us”) is a mobile game in which players trade within a fictional economy. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Maronia is operated by Maronia OÜ, registered in Estonia.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, where you allow it, your name and email address. We never receive your password.
- Gameplay data. Your holdings, transactions, standing, honours and other activity, so your account works across sessions and devices.
- Technical data. Device model, operating system, app version, language, and diagnostic or crash information used to keep the app stable.
- Support messages. Anything you send us when you ask for help.
Maron () is a fictional currency used only inside the game. It has no value in the real world and cannot be exchanged for money.
How we use it
- To run the game, verify your identity, and sync your account.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To fix problems, improve features, and answer support requests.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers who help us run Maronia, such as Apple and Google (sign in and app distribution), our hosting and database provider, and crash and analytics tools, and only as needed to provide the service or where the law requires it.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except for limited records we must keep to meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the EU GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and its data from within the app, or by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Maronia is not directed to children under the age required in your country to consent to data processing, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security & transfers
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Where data is processed outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant change will appear here with a new date above.
