These terms are the agreement between you and Maronia, operated by Alihan Benli, an individual developer based in Türkiye. By playing, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
1. The game
Maronia is a fictional trading game. All assets, prices and the Maron () are simulated, hold no real-world value, and cannot be bought, sold or redeemed for real money. The one thing real money can buy is the optional Maronia Club membership in section 4, which grants standing and nothing else. Maronia is not a financial service, and nothing in it is investment advice.
2. Your account
One account per player. Your name is public; names that impersonate others or the house, or that are offensive or abusive, are declined and may be reset. You can report a member from their profile, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Fair play
Exploiting bugs, automating play or manipulating the market outside the game’s rules may suspend the account. The exchange’s decisions on standings and records are final.
4. Maronia Club membership
Maronia Club is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly in one of three tiers (Medallion, Rosette or Sanguine). The price of the tier you choose is shown on the membership screen before you confirm, in your own currency. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews for another month unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel or change it at any time in your store account settings; cancelling stops the next charge and membership runs to the end of the period already paid for.
Membership is a mark of standing. It grants a coin that deepens with the years you keep it, and no advantage of any kind: no earlier news, no better price, no larger balance, no hidden information. It buys no Maron and no assets. Refunds are handled by the store you bought it from, under that store’s policy.
5. Changes
The game, its rules and these terms may change as Maronia evolves; material changes are announced in the app. The game is provided “as is”, and features may be changed or discontinued.
